collected 70 vaginal samples from pregnant women with Candida albicans in Samarra city. The samples were isolated on Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) medium, in terms of the shape and smell characteristic of yeasts, and then diagnosed on chroma agar medium designated for the diagnosis of Candida spp. The colonies were stained with Gram stain, where the colony appeared oval to circular in shape. A sensitivity test was performed for three types of antifungal tablets, namely Fluconazole 10 mcg, Clotrimazole 10 mcg, and Nystatin 50 mcg. The total percentage of antifungals showed that all 42 isolates were resistant to Fluconazole at a rate of 16.6%, resistant to Cortimazole at a rate of 11.9%, and resistant to Nystatin at a rate of 50%. The isolates were sensitive to Fluconazole at a rate of 69% and Clotrimazole at a rate of 80%, while the isolates were sensitive to Nystatin at a rate of 30%. The Germ tube test, which is a test dedicated to Candida albicans, showed us the shape of the mother cell with a mirror-like cylinder. Milk samples were isolated and cultured on MRS De man rogosa and sharp broth medium. Bacteriocin was extracted from Lactobacillus bacteria using chloroform. Six concentrations of bacteriocin were prepared, and the higher the concentration, the higher the inhibition rate. The adhesion test showed that the highest concentration gave the highest reduction in cells adhering to epithelial cells by 3-6 cells.
