The study was conducted on 90 samples, 60 of which were from patients with rheumatoid arthritis (40 females and 20 males) and 30 healthy samples (15 women, 15 males) were considered as a control group. The ages of the study group ranged between (30-75) years. Each of the following was measured: Parathyroid hormone, Interleukin-6, and tumor necrosis factor-alpha using the ELISA technique for the purpose of measuring hormone levels. The results of the study showed a significant increase (P≤0.05) in the levels of both parathyroid hormone and interleukin-6.
