Toxoplasma gondii is an intracellular organism that causes serious illness in both animals and people all over the world. It is often asymptomatic, but in immunocompromised people, it can cause pneumonia, ocular toxoplasmosis, and even mis1carriages. Research into T. gondii in cancer patients is extensive. However, no one has yet discussed the implications of widespread parasite infection in this population. Ocular toxoplasmosis (OT) is the infection of the eye caused by toxoplasmosis. Toxoplasma gondii infection, which causes infectious posterior uveitis and consequent vision loss, is a significant health damage, particularly in developing nations.
